About
Hello. My name is Michael (“Mouse”) Saenz. I am a kid who was born in Iran, lived in Chile and Mexico, and grew up in the Bay Area in California — my father was in the United States Military.
Needless to say, after being born in a military hospital and traveling a lot as a kid, I tend to get antsy by just sitting around. I love hiking, running, and yes — dancing.
Dance
I have been dancing since I was eighteen and am blessed to still be able to follow my passion on and off-stage. When I’m not teaching or choreographing Hip-hop, Jazz, or Modern (or what I like to dub the class, “Mikey Modern”) at East West Music and Dance, you can find me performing with sjDANCEco and around the Bay Area.
